Bethany Schrock, a local photographer here in Minneapolis has had quite the journey the past couple of years. She had to practice and fully know what it is like to settle down into a slower paced lifestyle due to complications with her health that were out of her own control, something she had not been used to previously.


For the story, we approached Bethany, and conducted a pre-interview. This gave us an introduction and a foundation for what we could do with a larger interview. Then, given that foundation we set-up a four-camera interview in her own studio.

For additional footage we used the interview date, a day at her apartment with her husband Wes, a seperate day capturing her process as a photographer, film footage from her as a child, her personal journal, and cellphone footage from the past couple years. Using the story, the footage, and a trio of compelling musical pieces, we put together final project that we simple call, "Bethany".


A biographical piece that we are extremely proud of, it hits your emotions hard with the story, and also catches your eye at every turn.
